Therapy in a natural setting

My East Asheville office cabin is located in a beautiful wooded setting (as you can see in the photos on this website) with access to private forest space, a circle for making fire, and public trails nearby. I recommend we meet outdoors to allow your relationship with the natural world to be a part of your healing process. (We can also meet inside according to the needs of weather or personal preference.)

You are welcome to arrive early and stay late (30 minutes before or after each appointment) to quiet your mind, connect with the land, and open yourself up to the more-than-human world.

The cabin does not have indoor plumbing; a composting outhouse is available for your use.

I can also offer video sessions as needed.

Length and Cost of Sessions

Initial sessions are 80 minutes long, and cost $255.

Subsequent sessions are 50 minutes long, and cost $170. Longer sessions may be scheduled upon request at a rate of $85 for each additional 30 minutes.

Fees are due at the time of the appointment. I do not take insurance because I have found that the involvement of insurance companies is detrimental to the care I am able to provide.

(Some insurance companies will reimburse you directly for the cost of counseling. You may talk with your insurance company to find out if this is the case for you. I can provide you with receipts that you can turn in to your insurance company.)
